With version 2.9.0, GoSpeech introduces automated file import via the new GoSpeech Mover. In addition, sharing settings can now be configured during upload. The release also includes technical security and stability improvements, as well as further measures in preparation for a C5 audit.

Automated Import with GoSpeech Mover

GoSpeech Mover is a new feature of the GoSpeech platform that makes it easier to import audio and video files. The desktop application automatically transfers files from local folders to GoSpeech. This feature is ideal, for example, for locally stored conversation and meeting recordings, as well as for recordings and dictations transferred from voice recorders. Any user with a GoSpeech account can easily set up the GoSpeech Mover themselves. Once set up, files are imported automatically, securely, and without any manual effort.

Expanded Upload Settings
Conveniently sharing recordings and transcripts has long been a frequently used feature in GoSpeech. Now, it’s also possible to specify, right when uploading recordings, with which people or groups they should be automatically shared. Once processing is complete, the content is automatically made available to the selected colleagues—including notifications.

Enhanced Security
With this release, we have implemented further technical improvements in the area of security to further enhance the protection of your data and the stability of the platform. Two-factor authentication (2FA) is now mandatory for all administrator accounts to better protect privileged access. In addition, the authentication process has been modernized by switching to the OAuth/OIDC flow. Furthermore, security risks identified during regular vulnerability scans have been addressed to further improve platform security.

Start of BSI C5 Certification
GoSpeech is currently undergoing certification for the C5 security standard for cloud computing developed by the BSI. The necessary technical and organizational improvements have already been implemented and are available to all GoSpeech SaaS users with this release. This is particularly relevant for organizations with heightened requirements for information security and compliance documentation, such as the healthcare sector, the judiciary, and government agencies.

Technical Optimization

Smooth operation is the foundation of your productivity.

That’s why, in this update, we’ve also been working behind the scenes to technically optimize our infrastructure components. These improvements ensure that GoSpeech always works reliably, quickly, and efficiently. You’ll benefit from a more stable platform and a seamless experience with every transcription.
